Minutes
Present – Bonina, Johnson, and Nichols
Also in attendance was Harald Scheid
1. Meeting called to order at 6:00 pm by Chairman Nichols.
2. Board reviewed prior minutes, signed minutes, and various other administrative forms for Dept. Scheid reviewed Bryan’s resignation letter.
3. Board acted on personal exemption application submitted timely by Mr. Gonor.
4. Board reviewed ATB decision on Rezac case – 181 Century Mill Rd. ATB Board requested Scheid call Bryan to get details of: if transcript available, appellant appraisal submission as evidence and available for review, and formal list of evidence submitted during hearing. Matter to be revisited next meeting. Scheid to reconcile FY06 property value with owner.
5. Discussion of administrative assessor; Scheid to provide sample job description.
6. Board went into executive session at 7:50 pm to discuss Cynthia’s position. Board terminated executive session at 8:10 pm. Cynthia’s salary was unanimously decided upon.
7. Scheid reviewed with Board the results of his revaluation efforts. In summary: typical value increases will be modest, with slightly larger for neighborhood 100 properties Hudson Rd, Main St. etc.), and larger increase for properties along I-495, except those that are abutting I-495, where a discount will be supplied.
8. Adjournment at 8:25 pm. Motion by Bonina, second by Johnson, vote unanimous.
